Kim Dillard Environmental Educator
Kim’s love for the outdoors and working with children developed as she grew up being active in 4-H, Girl scouts, Teen Adventure Program and Pine Camp in Augusta, GA. She has acquired two National Awards with the Gold Award in Girl scouts and The Women of Excellence Award in 1996. In college, Kim was one of the most outgoing participants in several clubs. Now, she has over 20 years of Recreation and Children Programming experience. This includes the Fort Gordon Recreation Area, Eckerd Youth Alternatives and The Salvation Army Kroc Center of Augusta. Her “people person” personality allows her to be an ongoing and dependable Volunteer with many nonprofit organizations. Among her MANY interests that include a passion for animals, canoeing and hiking, she has grown a dedication to being a Volunteer Upward Sports Coach and Geocaching. She brings the love and passion from her past to Phinizy Center for Water Sciences Swamp and Nature Park to share these passions with kids of all ages.
