Event Series: Forest Communities: Basic Dendrology Hikes

Forest Communities Hike: Phinizy Swamp Nature Park

November 17 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

This is a study of the Coastal Plains’ Floodplain including Tupelo Cypress River Swamp, Bottomland Hardwood Floodplain, and Hammocks. Most of this hike is off trail and can be a little difficult. If there has been recent heavy rains, wellies (knee-high rubber boots) may be needed. Insect repellent may be needed as well.
