Forest Communities Hike: Silverbluff Audubon

October 27 @ 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

This is a study of the Coastal Plains Longleaf Wiregrass community. We start the hike in upland dry, sandy soils and transition to a mesic slope leading to a Gum / Cypress Swamp. We may also include a mesic hardwood slope to a floodplain. This hike should be easy walking on fairly flat terrain.
