Rivers Alive Cleanup
October 31 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Please note the date has changed from October 17th to October 31st.
Georgia’s 70,150 miles of streams and rivers need your help! Our waterways provide us with fresh drinking water, great recreational opportunities like canoeing and fishing, and they serve as a pleasant respite from our busy lives. This is your opportunity to help protect one of our most precious resources…water!
Join our River’s Alive cleanup team as we clear the trash out of Butler Creek and the Mayor’s Fish’n Hole. Plan to meet in the front parking lot at Phinizy Swamp Nature Park at 9 am and work until noon.
