Volunteer Work Day – Shade Sails Installation
July 12, 2025 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
Hurricane Helene knocked down many shade trees around our outdoor classrooms. Help us install shade sails to keep our student scientists cool while they learn while our trees regrow!
We plan to install shade sails at two of our main outdoor classrooms along the Beaver Dam Trail. We will get as much done as we can this day and if we need to schedule a second day we will discuss it with our volunteer team to find a day that works. Be sure to bring bug spray, sun screen, and lots of water.
We will meet in the front parking lot, by the silos.
