Homeschool Science Enrichment Program
*Our program is currently very full. We have taken registration down but may still have some spots. If you are interested in registering, please email us the names and ages of your children and we will let you know if there is room: firstname.lastname@example.org*
The Phinizy Center homeschool program has been developed with your family’s needs in mind! Our educators have designed a unique program for children and youth who are in kindergarten through 12th grade. All field trip subject matter will be age and developmentally appropriate, and students will be grouped by age.
The program consists of two separate semesters with five sessions each. The cost is $45.00 for one five-week semester. Due to space limitations, we can’t guarantee a place for your child until your payment has been received. Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card. Register early as each group will be filled on a first come first served basis.
Changes in Light of COVID-19
Due to COVID-19, we have made some changes to the structure of our program for Fall 2020. We are limited to a few age groups per day, so we are offering multiple days. Sessions will be held on a certain day of each month from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Please see the schedule below to see which day best suits your family’s needs. Group sizes will be smaller than in previous semesters.
We will be taking everyone’s temperature upon arrival, are requiring face masks when students are working in close proximity, and are encouraging social distancing as much as possible.
Do your homeschool children have younger siblings?
We have a session designed just for younger siblings. The cost is just $25 per semester! This session will keep your 2 to 4-year-olds engaged while their older siblings participate in our regular programs. For Fall 2020, our toddler session will only be offered on the 2nd Monday and 3rd Tuesday of every month. If you have a toddler and no older children, you should check out our Puddle Ducks program!
