ASSISTANT EDUCATION DIRECTOR
Growing up in Powder Springs, GA as the youngest of 3 sisters, Camilla developed a love for our natural environment. Her passion led her to complete a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources with an emphasis in wildlife sciences from UGA. During her undergraduate studies, Camilla discovered that she could combine her love of nature and children so she continued on to complete a Master of Natural Resources with an emphasis in environmental education, also from UGA.
During her Master’s studies, Camilla was a lead teaching assistant for dendrology and earned her Advanced Training for Environmental Educators of Georgia (ATEEG) certification through the Environmental Education Alliance (EEA). In addition, she is certified in Project WET and Project Learning Tree.
