Savannah Taylor

Growing up in North Carolina as a homeschool student, Savannah enjoyed exploring and connecting with nature. She spent much of her time at nature centers and parks, in 4-H, volunteering in her community, and playing in the creek. Her passion and curiosity for the natural world led her to become involved as a volunteer and eventually an educator at various nature centers and zoos, earning her the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for her dedication to community education.

Savannah earned a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management at Clemson University where she studied ecology, natural resource management, program design, youth development and education. At Phinizy, she uses her knowledge and passion to facilitate meaningful educational connections with nature for others. In her free time, Savannah also enjoys hiking, traveling, crafting, and spending time with her 2 cats.
